with the children in hospitals, decorating the paediatric wards to promote a child friendly

in supporting KACCH in achieving its mission.

volunteers have an opportunity to choose their preferred hospital and days they wish to
volunteer, however, final placement is made according to available openings and
programmtic needs. Volunteering hours are from 9 am to 12 pm (Sunday to Thursday).
During this period volunteers are guided as well as supervised by a Child Life Specialist, all
working together to organise a range of activities from which children can choose from.
SPECIAL EVENTS: Various events are held in the hospitals each year bringing entertainment, fun and joy for both
the children and their families. Be it birthdays, national days, celebrations or parties, our volunteers provide a
helping hand with a positive spirit!

DECORATING PAEDIATRIC WARDS: One of our goals is to bring about a more child friendly environment in the
hospitals where children are treated. We are constantly looking for talented artists and skillful individuals who would
like to contribute their time by bringing to life the corridors, playrooms and paediatric wards with colourful images, or
by making mobiles and soft furnishings such as cushions and curtains.

FUNDRAISING: Various fundraising events are organised throughout each year in order to raise money and
awareness for KACCH and its Child Life Programmes. Volunteers are welcome to participate in such events or may
also collaborate with KACCH to come up with new fundraising ideas.
